One side working in imperial, feet and inches, and the others working in metric. Didn't NASA do that with one of their space probes fairly recently.

Its a good pic, about 4 miles away from me the Terenez bridge was built like the pics, a suspension bridge, however on a bend, very clever, designed by the gang who did the Millau bridge in central southern france.
The decks are constructed and levelled by the single suspension cables, it really was a great opportunity to watch its construction, and if ever you are in Finistere its worth a visit, it connects the Presquille de Crozon with Le Faou etc. Worth googling, Terenez, haven't looked recently, it did have views of different stages of construction!

I'm curious on the reason for chopping off the wing like that, trying to achieve a sportster look?
