Last day of September today, sorned the Roadster from tomorrow, (can't see me having the chance to use her much this winter), sun is shining today.
Clean, polish said car and roll her down the drive ready for a last drive through North Wales. Jump in and start her up. Starter motor keeps spinning even with the key out.
Disconnect battery and swear a little...
This is a fully reconditioned stater motor with all new bits. The Prestlite one I'd bought was useless so it went back and I had this one refurbed. Got to be a sticking solenoid. Swear a bit more as haven't time to get it sorted.
A job for winter.
