    I've been using the temporary plywood blank as supplied by Marlin for the last 30 years. It still looks fine but I wish I had done a better job of positioning the warning lights

      We used a blank SAM_0313.JPGbit of ply for my sons mk 1

        Just planning my new dash...though't I'd use some software to get the layout correct after living with some badly spaced dial faces since the original build...then I thought I'd colour it in.

          And here's the almost finished version...a little tweaking required on one warning light but overall I'm reasonably pleased.
          One of the issues with the Roadster is the lack of real-estate to spread things out over - by the time you factor in steering wheel, stalks & cubbyhole visible & accessible space is at a premium..!

          Now for the fun task of rewiring the entire car...the 43 yr old BL loom is not wearing well, so I'm going to redo the entire thing using more than 2 fuses.

              Definitely looks to be worth all the effort though, very nice indeed.

              BTW whats going in the round hole on RHS? Is it a vent?
