Or a cheaper completed one Peter?
The one near me had been on ebay and was a Part 1 chassis only, requiring all the bespoke Marlin bodywork to be purchased, which will make it a very expensive kit to complete.

I did not say these cars are not any good, I said they are not of the reqd spec. The gentleman for whom I am looking for a Sportster for,l has a very fixed idea of what he wants, ie Sierra based runninbg gear not BMW, Would like a 3900 v8 engine, but may be prepared to change the engine. So I would like to hear from any club member who may be thinking of selling their Sportster.

I can understand why he wants what he wants for me I wouldnt bother with the rover engine it would be a V8 jag engine and box 4.2 easy 300 horses and very smooth, if you want more supercharged is 400-600 with ease now that would be a quick car
