Marlin to produce Cabrio again??

I just received the latest Complete Kit Car magazine in the post. There is a small mention that Marlin are considering producing the Cabrio again, if there is demand. However I had a quick look on the Marlin website and there is no mention of this.

Presumably they would need to update a number of components as Sierra parts are no longer thick on the ground. BMW based as per the Sportster perhaps?
If there is any truth to any of this then the body moulds at least are in existence , which must be reassuring.

There is mention of MX5 parts being used.
