Berlinetta seat belts.

I want to raise the height of the top mount of the front seat belts. At the moment the mount is much lower than my shoulder and in a crash may cause additional injury. I was wondering if anyone has done this modification? A search on here showed nothing.

Ykc introduced an extension for the top mount with sva in mind. However a rear roll bar is an option.

Hi Scott,
I have used the roll bar alternative. Quite an easy bit of engineering and i can send you some photos and plans IF you are interested.

Hi James. Thanks for that, I have made a simple bracket for each side but haven't got round to posting pics yet. I will try to get time today. It would be good to see pics of your set up though.

OK, I'm not quite sure how I post pictures etc on the forum but here goes. I have written a description describing the roll bar, drawn a diagram with measurements and taken a photo of one of my roll bars in situ. Here's hoping I can upload them up.
