Looks like it could be a nice car, I recall the demo car that Paul took me for a drive in, looked just like this and with the Alfa engine.

I've emailed the seller. As David said, I think it could well be this car, a prototype Mk 2 which was driven a lot as a demonstrator by PM and appeared in many magazine articles

Hmm, always fancied popping an Alfa Engine into my Cabrio, more in keeping with the car. For a second thought of buying this and swopping engines...2000 Marlin Cabrio LWB; 2.0 L Burton Pinto in Ford Nightfire Red with Magnolia leather interior.
