    Visited the Haynes Motor Museum and Cheddar Gorge

    We met up with the SKCC crew at blackbushe airport at 7am for a blatt down to the Haynes Motor Museum. After a hearty breakfast and a look round the museum we went on to Cheddar Gorge. All in all it was 9 hours of fun and we managed to avoid using much of the A303.

      The MK looks like. big car for a seven, or is that just because it's in the foreground?

          Not wanting to be negative, but I will be, the museum has a great range of vehicles, but it left me wanting.
          The impressions given that every car was driveable, out of the display, maybe, but it is more a historical record than a working museum.

          close to me in Spain is a Motorcycle museum. In the summer months, enthusiasts take the different bikes out for a shake down, presumably Spanish MOT requirements are ignored by the local police and Guardia, as of course they should be.

                  I loved the Cotswold motor museum. loads more atmosphere , a lovely jumble. Did it close?
