I think you may find it is a Hybred- Triumph front and Marina rear.

I am only going by what it says in the advert and promoting it to the club. I am not the worlds expert on Marlins

When I was looking for a car to buy I went to see this Roadster in Jan2016, which was for sale with Spinning Wheel garage, Chesterfield at £6,495. It's certainly a lovely car but it was more than I was prepared to pay for it so let it go. The Spinning Wheel website showed it as sold in June 16.

It was recently advertised on Car and Classic by the same garage at £6,995 - http://www.marlinownersclub.com/foru...ar-and-Classic - and the advert is now showing as sold.

Yes it was a hybrid, as a reminder, Triumph front suspension with Morris Marina leaf spring rear suspension. This one did have the 6 cylinder engine so in many ways it's very similar to my car.

It did say it was advertised elsewhere and there may get withdrawn, obviously sold it away from fleabay..... b#gg#r .... I had it on a watch list, was half tempted to add it to my collection. Ah well, onwards, upwards and all that.

Still thanks for the original post it was fun whilst it lasted.

Spinning Wheel site shows it as sold. Lets hope we see it at Stoneleigh next year.

Thats interesting (well it is to me...... Spinning Wheel had it advertised at £6,995. Mind you it is a very tidy example and I would bet they would supply it with 3 months warranty too.
