Best driving music

Looking at another thread talking about fitting small audio equipment into Marlins made me think of my best driving tunes... Here are my top 5, what are yours?

1.Burn. Deep Purple - or the Whitesnake version (saw them live in 1981 when they were good).
2. Highway star (also Deep Purple)
3 Dont Stop Me Now - Queen
4 Storm - Vanessa May (Vivaldi 4 seasons version) Lovely girl, knew her before she was famous!
5 East coast racer Big Big Train - if you haven't listened to this please do, its a trainlover's paradise - its a good long prog rock thing (15 mins - or about 10 miles) that develops and develops. Dave Longdon is a mate so I have to give his group a plug! (plus I do their webwork!)...

the ubiquitous Chris Rea and yes, you guessed it, driving home for Christmas!!! ok, i'm off to the corner in a well darkened room, might even wear the pointy hat with the big 'D' on it

Many already mentioned plus Welsh male voice choirs to sing along with, but for sitting in a traffic jam , which we all do sometimes. Almost any Gregorian chants , calms the mind and reduces the urge to kill people.

I quite like watching those in car camera clips of accidents and near misses on TV and you tube, and the one common connection

is a lot of the drivers are listening to loud music thumping away.

I will leave you to decide if this affects your concentration when driving !!

I actually cant hear a thing in mine, the mini cooper exhaust is far too noisy BUT like what I'm hearing re: Santana & Led-Zep HOWEVER I think the most appropriate song is surely "One piece at a time" by Johnny Cash .. some of you will remember the lyrics, some of which could occasionally apply to Marlin ownership ?

The transmission was a fifty three
And the motor turned out to be a seventy three
And when we tried to put in the bolts all the holes were gone.
So we drilled it out so that it would fit
And with a little bit of help with an adapter kit
We had that engine runnin' just like a song
Now the headlight' was another sight
We had two on the left and one on the right
But when we pulled out the switch all three of 'em come on.
The back end looked kinda funny too
But we put it together and when we got through
Well, that's when we noticed that we only had one tail-fin
About that time my wife walked out ..... ENOUGH SAID, YOU GET THE PICTURE !
