Hi Roland.
Unless someone knows better, I suspect you are better off tackling this from your own end in Portugal - what is your equivalent to our DVLA and Customs and Excise?!
I don't think you should have a problem - I've certainly seen a few UK Berlinettas ending up in Spain recently; can Portugal be much different?
I'd try phoning the vehicle registration department in your own country.
