...... my Cabrio managed to fail its MOT today on something that has not changed on the car for years. The failure stated that the battery clamp was not secure enough. Never taken the battery out nor moved it in all the time I've owned this car and its always passed its MOT..... until today. I'm beginning to think that the new MOT is starting to make the test stations a tad over zealous.

So..... how has everyone else clamped their battery's to give me some ideas of options/avenues I may wish to pursue.

Mine sits in a recess in the firewall with a strap over the top and down the front and a bolt and wingnut at one end and a hinge at the other.
