    2 Engines and a gearbox

    Hi All

    First of all I would like to know what these come from.

    I have an idea that one is an A Series bottom end and the other is from a spriget but will bow down to anyone who spots it.

    The gearbox may well go with the spriget engine, again not quite sure.

    Secondly, these items are all free to anyone who wants them.

    They are in the High Wycombe area.

    Let me know, else they go to the local metal collector and he will at least get the scrap value.

    Couldn't get any better pictures due to busted ribs.

    The engine with the red rocker cover is a pre cross flow ford kent engine.
    Ben Caswell probably not the last word on anything here!!

        Well spotted, do you think the gearbox goes with it?

          Not sure it looks like a 1300 Midget/A35 box to me

            I seem to recall that the midgets had the slave cylinder on the offside - access to bleed it through rubber bung in the drivers footwell. Also the casing was strengthened on Midget/Sprites with external ribbing .

              Well the engines correct and is being picked up tomorrow.

              Thanks Ben for the info.

              The other bits are also gone and hopefully the guy who picks up the stuff will know what they are.

              I will let you guys know.

                Took a bit more working out the box is from a 105 Ford Anglia so probably does belong with that engine.
                The other engine with no head looks like A series but the engine number is in the wrong place??
