There's a track day on 3rd June organised by Marlin. Details below from Terry at Marlin:
I know a few of you are keen, but apprehensive about booking to go out on
the track, so please find detailed below a little more information that
might just help you make your mind up. Remember you do not need to do
anything special to your car to take it out at this type of event.
Morning (after drivers briefing):
We will be splitting people into 3 main groups, each group will be out for
15/20 minutes. Please remember you can move up to another group anytime you
feel like it.
a) Complete novices
b) Intermediates
c) Experienced
If we feel anyone appears to be in the wrong group (ie an intermediate in
with the novices) we will black flag and take off the track and move them
into another group.
Afternoon:
Will mainly be an open pit lane with a beginners type group, if still
needed.
Those of you booked for only half a day will need to come in the morning.
However you may want to reconsider and book a whole day as I am sure you
will gain so much confidence and regret not being able to drive after lunch.
Let me know asap if you change your mind.
If you intend to have another driver on the day please confirm name and
don't forget you will need helmets, you can hire these at the track if
necessary.
I have confirmed with the track that they will also arrange to have a
photographer present to capture the event along with our own web designer
who will be taking pics and maybe some video as well.
For those already booked I will invoice you nearer the time with final
instructions for those not booked get your name down NOW or your miss a
great day out.
