Roadster door hinges.

Has anyone modified or cut off the welded hinge and replaced with stainless steel hinges.
I am thinking of doing this (before painting the doors and pillars) as 1. there isn’t great deal of adjustment other than on the door side and 2. way too easy to open and lift off.

I have to say I like the idea of being able to lift the doors off. Especially when you have to get to the bits inside the cockpit which would normally be inaccessible.

That’s true. It would only make more work for myself. There is a small amount of adjustment in the door so will keep them.
Can always add a strap and brackets to stop them being removed easily.
