v8 roadsters

[v8 mudmover]

Evening all, could anybody tell me for definite if Marlin ever manufactured a "factory" V8 powered roadster??. I have spoken to Terry at Marlin, but the roadster was prior to her time(her words). Any help much appreciated.

Don't think so. They may have sold a kit for a V8 to be fitted in. Not sure about YKC.

There are a few V8 powered Roadsters around but all were built by individuals, perhaps with Marlin building the appropriate chassis mods (you
could request chassis suitable for different engines) but as far as I know no V8s were built officially by the factory

There is at least one YKC built red V8 roadster with cycle wings and a rollover bar.

DC is to the best of my knowledge correct . No 'official' factory built Roadsters with V8 power, but chassis option available.
