On another tangent , this is why as much as I like the sportster, it needs the roll bar removing so that a 'proper' hood can be designed. You only need to see David Siddal's car to see what can be achieved.Comment

I was thinking they might have done this for hillclimbing? Often see Roasters with similar appendages at the back with extra wheels lashed to it.
