As a point of interest, it was more likely the pinion bearing being worn that allowed the pinion to tip up and down and run out of mesh literally twisting the teeth off the crown wheel. I have a 4.1 Triumph 13/60 herald crown wheel and pinion and a full set of fitted once but never run bearings that came from a college project. Its supposed to be possible to interchange with Marina Axle. I am going to exmoor on Friday if thats any help Mail me by end of Thursday or on here.
