And it comes round again, not sure if there has been a price reduction though!

And another round again, with maybe a slight reduction!

That looks awfully like a car I saw at Stoneleigh at least 30 years ago. The give away being the way that the screen surround has been carefully rounded on the edges. If I am not mistaken this car also had shortened (lengthways) rear springs so they didn't protrude as much at the rear.
            Cheers Robin

I should add it meticulously built.

Previously it was NWY 697V in UK - thanks Ben !

so I think it is a YKC job, is that correct? my vin is similar, maybe ykc finished the build etc?

                        Re: Marlins a la Frog!

SABTVR..... etc and similar type numbers are all "official" VINs in no way related to the Marlin numbers

My self imposed task is to ID the entire Marlin production - you may have seen something in Pitstop
about the chassis number series that Marlin used - and it's an ongoing battle, which is why you see
                        me chasing these things

Your Berlinetta is Marlin chassis 3-1495, it should be on a small plate on one side of the scuttle

These pics are of the "normal" locations for the small plate - however there were other places used

Thanks Tony. Interesting to see that it's now red, I have nothing else on it !

If this is the one I'm thinking about, would you believe I never had any contact from the seller ?

                            Of course you would !
