Kieran is correct, it may turn out to be a bit more difficult than you think, but it is possible as there a several Zetec powered Cabrios around.
I didn't have a problem with the steering/inlet manifold. Omex do use the standard manifold, but since I had to manufacture engine mounts I had the ability to locate the engine so that it cleared steering shaft. Its close but there is a bit of space.
The exhaust manifold did foul the floor and had to be bent, my friendly local garage did that using an acetylene torch and a 7 foot scaffold pole.
