    Fuel tank

Can't find my instruction manual and I need a new fuel tank. Can anyone remember the tank used in a 1984 Mk2 Roadster? Escort van? Attached picture shows what happens when you decide to rebuild after 22 years!

Hi Trevor (your pic didnt stick) either escort Mk1 or Mk2 Van or Estate tank or if your feeling flush you could get a bespoke one built.

Thanks Ben. Just changed photo - bit too big the first time. Thanks for the info. Now to find one.

          Hi Trevor,
Good picture. Just out of interest, what motor is that? I can see a SOHC and an SU carb?

Judging by the length of it that doesn't look like a standard tank???? How about a pic.from the rear?

I seemed to remember it was an Esort tank as confirmed by Ben. The filler was modified from horizontal to vertical. The motor is a 1.7 Ital.
