    Update. Close to finishing

After 1 and 1/2 years I'm so close to finishing it. Just the black magic of the electrics to finish off.

When I brought this car so many comments of it's only good for parts.

    It can be done.

Looking really good. How come a kit is only useful as spares?

The generally perceived view is that a Roadster kit that has not been registered is not capable of getting through the IVA without substantial mods and prohibitive cost. Whether or not this is true, I do not know as, to the best of my knowledge, no one has done it. Unless kiwi009 can tell us different?

Yes, I've seen that and hope kiwi is right. It may be just a bit of thought. That would make unregistered kits more valuable.

When it was advertised by the owner. Because it had v5 from donar car. All comments were pity not worth the effort it's only good for parts.

This just goes to show if you want to put in the time and effort it can be done.

Well done. I will be the first to hold my hand up to saying that so I offer my apologies.
Was it already registered? There are a fair few unfinished kits out there still that will benefit from your advice.

Ok, so I'll ask the question. How did you get it registered as a Marlin Roadster without an IVA test?
