    Peak District meets.

To anyone who may be interested, the Cock & Pullet (our usual venue, pre. Corona) is opening for business again, post lockdown on friday 24th July 12noon. The following saturday would be our normal meet so if anybody wishes to resume our get-togethers, they would be most welcome. I will in the intervening period try to contact the C & P to see if booking a table will be necessary, guessing numbers obviously. Regards all.

Hi all. In view of a general air of caution prevailing I think it would be sensible to call this month's meet off and review the situation on a month by month basis. Regards

I saw that the Cock & Pullet meet was showing up on the calendar for the end of the month.
          Is anyone planning on attending?

I did go out for the Jan meet on the 29th, but no signs of life and the pub was locked up.
Passed one Marlin on the way out there as I was returning home, but I didn't recognise the driver, so I hope they hadn't come too far.
Hope to see you all again in Feb, if the pub's open.

Hi Bill. A most strange scenario as the usual faces were there from 12.00 midday until nearly 3.00 pm. The Marlin you saw could have been our old friend Mr Mulvany who came over from Wigan.Look forward to seeing you next month. Most strange!!!! Regards David

I saw you Bill as I got out of car in car park. The door at the back of the pub was unlocked and I waved at you, but you disappeared. It was just before 12 noon.
                      See you next month Liz

Sorry I missed you, front outer doors were locked, and when I knocked at the window, someone just shook their head at me.

Their web site still says 11.30 opening.
