    V8 in a Berlinetta?

    Message originally posted by: Dan
Does anyone know whether this has been done or is fairly easily possible? Be great to hear some opinions and experiences etc as I'm looking to buy a Berlinetta, but want something with a V8 in it.

    Many thanks

    Dan

There were quite a few v8 berlys about. Plenty of room but you do have to re route the steering column I have seen several different ideas on this, but all successful. The clutch operation is normaly hydraulic, so it is whether you change to direct or remote operation. If your berly is cortina based then the axle can be changed capri diffs 2.8 or 3.0, but I have to say I know of a berlinetta that has run about with a v8 on a 2000 back axle for 10 years and is still going strong. Anyway back to the original question I know of at least 8 no v8 berlinettas each person with different ideas on parts of the convertion.
