      Both Speedo and tacho are described as Mechanical! I had an early MG Midget with mechanical tacho [driven by dynamo through a small gearbox] Is this going to be the same arrangement?

          I have only just seen this site myself if you go to the shop you will see all sorts of variations of gauges look around for 10-15 mins and you will have as much of an idea as I have. It is a link that I thought was worth putting up due to the sites content.
