    Coilovers instead of torsion bars

It has been suggested, on another forum, that it may be possible to use coilovers thereby eliminating the torsion bars. With no torsion bars the suspension would be much easier to fine tune.
I wondered if anyone else had tried this and, if so, what spec were the coilovers?
    Cheers Robin
