Its been many years since I aligned a clutch but I have a multi purpose tool that accommodates a range of spigot bearing and shaft sizes from about 5/8 to 7/8". Just a thought.

As above or you can purchase the following which was introduced in the 90's and also works well.

If you have access to a lathe, why not turn one up from a piece of dowel?

Or a socket with a bolt can be made to work.

Yeap, used that idea back in the 60's with my old man, we were remounting a Wolseley 1500 gearbox onto the lump which was still in the car!

A bolt or dowel made to fit the bearing and clutch plate with masking tape.
