    Marina rear axle.

I acquired a Triumph /Marina hybrid Roadster chassis and panels last year.
Would any member be able to help me with sourcing the rear axle set up.
They seem to be as rare as hens teeth.

What is the problem with your existing diff?
there are two different ratios for the Marina, a mismatch will be a disappointment.

I strongly suggest reading the document that I shared. Swapping the axle is easy enough but you don’t know the condition of the axle or the brakes you are fitting. Swapping the diff centre, once you know what it is, is a much quicker job.

My advice is to take it one step at a time, and get it right.

              Hello Steve.
I don't have any axle at the moment. the chassis is a Triumph Marina hybrid.
My proposed donor is an old Vitesse based Spartan so I should be able to change the crown wheel and pinion if need be
              thanks for your help.

Changing the crownwheel and pinions as individual parts is not really a job for the home mechanic, it’s a more specialist job and requires specific tools. Many have tried and the parts end up in a box under the workbench and not in the differential housing.
A second hand axle, probably still with the 1970’s oil still in it is an unknown goood luck
