Do you know much about the Ford i4 8 valve DOHC engine?

Fitted to many Sierras, both EFi an carburetter. Question...where in the block is the engine temperature sensor...or is elsewhere in the cooling system?

Early Cortina Pimto engine is front left between carb and fan, 2/3 way up the block. Screwed in.

Look on the bottom side of the back of the thermostat housing, a bit awkward to get to. If two sensors present the other is a separate one for the fan.

Can't remeber as such but Haynes says "On DOHC
models, the sender is located at the front of
        the inlet manifold (see illustration)."
