I have for a number of years been fed up with my suction cup rear view mirror falling off the windscreen at inappropriate times.
I have always been loathed to drill any more holes in the screen surround and don't like the idea of sticking it directly to the windscreen.
So I put my thinking cap on and turned to a modern day technology, that of 3D Printing.
A friend of mine does it for a hobby and so sent him the dimensions and the story carries on in the pictures below.

First off knock the design up in cad

Print including the holes for fixing

Paint

And fix.
