Re: Stoneleigh 2021
I have just been informed by the organisers of the Stoneleigh show that we have the same pitch (63) as last time but it appears we need to share part of it with another club. For this year the whole show site has been temporarily reduced due to building and remedial work, though next year club pitches should return to the 2019 allocation. Although we may have less room than last time we won’t have the marquee so, hopefully, that should compensate. Please be patient if the organisation gets a bit confused on the day but I believe the organisers are doing their best given the circumstances imposed on them.

Re: Stoneleigh 2021
There will be no AGM at Stoneleigh this year, mainly because we will have no marquee and also because we didn't want too many members in close proximity even though the rules have been 'relaxed'.
I realise that the club's constitution calls for an AGM with an interval of no more than about 14 months and we missed last years for obvious reasons. The committee will look at the possibility of holding an AGM at an alternative location later in the year but it all depends on how the Covid situation develops over the next few months.

Re: Stoneleigh 2021
Just thinking about the last show. Trade stands didn't entirely fill the halls. In the largest hall they screened off an unused area with quite a large space behind. If it is necessary to have an AGM we could gather safely there with permission , of course, from the organisers.
Only a thought. I'm happy that the meeting is postponed until this awful lergy is under control.Marlin Berlinetta 2.1 Efi

Re: Stoneleigh 2021
In principle a good idea. The problem is that the show ground is considerably smaller this year because of various works going on. The organisers, Grosvenor, are still waiting for a site plan from the show ground as they still have a number of car clubs to fit in somewhere. I don't particularly want to complicate things for them any further by asking for the use of another bit of space. Thanks for the idea though.
