    Potential Cabrio/Hunter owner

I’ve been aware of Marlins for some time as my wife and her late husband competed in Endurance Rallies in a Cabrio. Having recently sold my Lotus Elan I find there’s a hole in my life for something ‘interesting’ to drive. My problem is I’ve never even sat in a Marlin and I feel I ought to before I travel the inevitable distance to track down one for sale. So I was wondering if there was an owner in the Hampshire / West Sussex area who might take me for a spin?

Patrick that is a generous offer but I’ve set my heart on a Cabrio / Hunter. The Sportster looks brilliant but at my age I believe I need doors and a hood! Please don’t think me rude but I will decline.

I'll be in Chichester in just over a weeks time for granddaughters graduation. Not sure yet if It'll be in Cabrio, if so I'll PM you for a possible get together.

Although I have a Cabrio myself, I was (and still am) tempted by a Sportster, which BTW does have doors and, depending on having a windscreen instead of aero screens, can also have a hood. Probably the only difference is that the Sportster does not have movable side windows like a Cabrio as they tend to be more in line with the side window style you get on 7 style cars.
