Cabrio LWB - Makaira

Am I dreaming, or can it be possible to craft Makaira type front wings onto a Cabrio ?

I agree...they would look great...but recent reading suggests the Makaira body was aluminium, so there may not be any moulds for fibreglass ones. Back in 2010 there was an ite

2010 irem in Pitstop from a guy planning JBA Falcon wings with a GT6 hard top...the picture looked feasible, but I'm not sure anything came of it, sadly.

Project was planned with 4.5L Daimler engine !

It is now owned by Andy Berrisford, my last info (Feb 2022) is that he has "started again" and is fitting an e46 engine.

Hopefully he will read this and give us an update.

The Makaira wings in alloy did not turn out good enough for Mark to use so the wings were fibreglass. The doors and bonnet were of course alloy.
