Anyone out there still running with sealed-beamed units? I've just fitted my recently-purchased halogen headlamp conversion kit and it's sooooo nice to have bright white light as opposed to pale yellow!
Total cost - ?25 including bulbs; really not worth buying a new sealed unit when you can have halogen at this price.
Got them from Ebay, from: 'cts spares 1' They have a set currently on offer, but closing soon, at: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Halogen-Headlamp-Conversion-Kit-Classic-Mini_W0QQitemZ230026557204QQihZ013QQcategoryZ43122 QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem
but they seem to put a pair on regularly.
And, no, I'm not connected to them in any way - just amazed at the difference for so little cost!
