Pressure Cap

There is a pressure cap on the thermostat housing of my O series engine. It's like a radiator cap, but without the spring.

The gasket on it has shrunk. I went out looking for a new one, but I have not been able to find a new replacement. Any ideas?

Don't think you can source gasket as separate so you would need to make .See item 330031253242 on e bay as it may be suitable since you require a blanking cap.

Try Halfords, I got a cap for the expansion tank there recently. Mine is a 1.7 'O'series lump.

Alan (Peterborough) - thanks, I tried Halfords and Autosave. Up here they don't carry much old stock.
