Berlinetta tyre pressures

Hi, can anyone recommend the correct tyre pressures for a Cortina based Berlinetta with a 2L Ford Pinto engine?

Somewhere back in the past I linked a web-based pressure calculator on here that took tyre size, rating and weight of vehicle.

For my Sierra-based Hunter the calcs came out at 13psi all round. Personally I think that’s a bit too soft (frightened the tyre would come off the rim on a harsh corner) but somewhere below 20psi seems to give the softest ride for touring, given the state of our roads today.

I run a Sierra based Berlinetta with 185/80 tyres with pressures of 20 psi front and 22 psi rear. With wider tyres you might find that you will be happier with pressures slightly lower. It is a matter of personal preference.
