In traffic I noticed an occasional and slight shudder when releasing the clutch, investigations led me to the 40 year old engine mountings and on closer inspection one of them was beginning to fail (see pic).
Fitted the new mountings yesterday (supplied by James Paddock), they are rock hard in comparison to the old ones suggesting they are strong but do they still have insulation properties?
Does anybody have any experience of these mountings?
