I am going to be running a ford 2.0 DOHC (I4) engine and have fitted an escort mk1 van fuel tank but modified the sender unit to incorporate a fuel pump from a Rover V8 (Sd1). With me so far?
Because I am now going fuel injection, I dont think the SD1 pump will supply the pressure I need. SO - is it swirl pot and new pump for the fuel rail(if so any recomendations on pump?) or could I simply use a sierra sender/pump unit in the tank? (if so from which model) The tank doesnt have any baffles in it so may give problems when fuel is low?
Any help gratefull recieved (again).
Cheers
