You are right it\'s an Escort van tank.
Normally cars are fitted with the correct Ford Escort sender but this is known to give bad readings.
Someone, once grafted a Marina sender onto a Ford. It will work but the float arm will need bending to suit the depth of the Ford tank.MOC member since 05/97

You can get a \'Universal\' one from the likes of Europa .I found that together with a Smiths fuel guage I got pretty accurate readings.Comment
