    Windscreen Surround

    Hi folks
How do you remove the Windscreen surround from a Cabrio?
I have the two piece sort which has a screw either side of the centre join and a rivet at each end down below dash,is that all there is?
    Regards
    Bryan

Yes Bryan that is correct but I would imagine it still be stuck with widescreen sealant as it goes on when the screen is still drying. What's the reason for removal ?

      Hi Lee
      Thanks for responding
The reasons I wish to remove it are to polish it up properly and to tidy up the inner windscreen frame as previous owner has covered this in vinyl but it is coming adrift
Do you think it will be difficult/worth it to remove?
      Cheers
      Bryan

Is it stainless or alloy ?? if it was me I would polish it in situ, just be very carefull you dont break the screen, if your fitting a new screen it does not matter

I would cover the interior from splash and get a polishing mop on it, once you are happy with the finish then give the car a good wash.
