    finally managed to track the guy down. seems he's changed his mind about selling. i'm gutted, not to mention i've had insurance on the car for over a week now. no explanation. i've no idea what's really going on here.

        1984 Marlin Roadster SWB.
        1800TC, Unleaded ported head, stage 2 cam. Ford Type 9 gearbox, Dolomite Sprint rear axle fitted with MGF disc brakes.
        Three core radiator, Renault Clio vented front discs.
