I have always been irritated about the way the seat belts drop down behind the seats on my LWB Hunter once released. Once there they are impossible to reach easily when you are sitting in the car. This is especially annoying when the hood is up as it means scrabbling to get out, hook the belt over something and then get in again, always hoping that it doesn’t slip back behind the seat again!
I had for Plan A looked at fitting the guides that are available for the MGB as the seats / headrests are very similar to the sportsman recliners that Marlin fitted. However they seemed too high and would have fouled my windstop brackets.
After a futile attempt at Plan B which wasted two days (just don’t ask!) I revisited Plan A using the MGB guides and realised that they could be modified to suit. Ordered from MGB Hive they arrived 1st Class mail the following day and mods commenced as follows:

Seat belts are now held in position, even if the seats are tipped forward, and if required the belts can be slipped out of the guides using the slot provided. Result! Peter.
