    Re: Hunter Speedo under reading

I got my gauges last year from www.etbinstruments.com who were good and not badly priced. See pics in my albums.

Does anyone know who made the original Marlin cable driven speedos like I have? Peter.

I only know the Fordf Rocket box and the type 9. Each can take speedo gears from 21 teeth to 26 teeth wihout changing the worm drive on the GB output shaft (I have four different gears I have been experimenting with). They are very easy to change. Does the Rover box have interchangeable speedo gears? Maybe, if so, this could be a way to go.

Hi Lee. I have 16" wheels. Toyo Proxes T1R 205x55R16 on 61/2" rims. Do you have any tables for that size? Peter.

                  Peter

Have a look at this site:

Have your tyres fitted at your home, work or a place that is convenient for you. Shop competitively priced tyres at etyres.

You can compare your tyre rolling diameter at 632mm to the ones Lee has estimated as 627mm.

There is less than 1% difference, so you'll get virtually identical figures.

Thanks Mike. I will remove the back cover from the original Quaife diff to check I/D marks on C/Wheel to verify actual ratio when I get a minute. Peter.
