Hello, thanks for the information it is good to see how others do things, I will trim a bit more off the mini tie bars, I am away on holiday at the end of the week but will try and get some pictures up on my post I had thought I was near finishing the front end and it occurred to me that as I had never checked the clutch as it was fitted before I bought the project the last thing I wanted to do was to take it apart once built, so I bought a block and tackle and worked out that I could move the engine a few inches back to the steering rack and have a look. I managed to release the pressure plate and look at the clutch as well to find that has never been used, so I bolted the pressure plate up and started to to push the engine back in position could I do it No. Give up for the day . The next day I bought some threaded bar, washers and bolts, cut the bar in 4 inch bits and managed screw the engine back in place and replace the original bolts. lets hope the OD gearbox is OK
