Reminder of 2025 membership fee increase
The club’s annual subscription fee has had to rise in response to ongoing cost inflation. From 01 January 2025 the same fee of £24 for a year’s membership will apply to all members.
In order to simplify administration and correct some incorrect payments all members will need to renew their subscription in this website, and those paying automatically (by Standing Orders or PayPal) will need to change their payment instructions too:
If you pay by cash, cheque or BACS bank transfer when you renew each year, just do this as usual in the Signup/Renewal page that follows, but select the new 2025 membership and pay with the new figure of £24. To continue with this arrangement select the Manual Payments option, but if you could opt for PayPal instead it will save you doing this again every year!
If you pay by a bank Standing Order you need to change the sum set up with your Bank to the new £24 figure first, before the next payment comes due. Once that’s done, go to the Signup/Renewal page that follows and select the new 2025 membership and the Manual Payments option. But if you could opt for PayPal instead it will save you repeating this each year!
If you pay by PayPal, (thanks!) you need first to cancel the recurring payment authority in your PayPal account that currently pays your subscription automatically each year, before the next payment comes due. Once that’s done, go to the Signup/Renewal page that follows, select the new 2025 membership and choose the PayPal Payments option and that will set up a new payment for the renewal.
While you’re renewing could you please also look in the Your Details tab to verify that we still have the correct information for you like email, phone numbers, postal address and Marlin model?
We’ll email every member before their current membership expires to explain what is needed, and give details in the forum too.
Please note that we have to cancel all renewals for the old subscriptions on this occasion, meaning that we must ask every member to renew here when their current membership year ends. We understand that this is an inconvenience but have tried to make the change as quick and easy as we could and thank you in advance for your co-operation and support.
